I offer personalised therapy that is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. By employing a variety of evidence-based approaches, I strive to achieve effective outcomes that can significantly enhance personal wellbeing. Whether you are dealing with mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, or simply looking for a space to explore your thoughts and feelings, my services are designed to provide the support you need. The current fee for a 50-minute consultation is $250.

You do not require a referral to schedule an appointment. However, wherever possible we recommend that you consult a Medical Practitioner like a General Practitioner or a Consultant Psychiatrist so they can determine if you are eligible for a care plan which may entitle you to a Medicare rebate. Under the Medicare Better Access Initiative, the current rebate for a 50-minute session with a Clinical Psychologist is $141.85 for up to ten sessions each calendar year, which leaves an out-of-pocket gap of $108.15. Under the Eating Disorder scheme, rebates are available for up to forty sessions each calendar year. Please note that we are not a bulk-billing practice.

Services can also be provided under DVA, Private Health Insurance, Workcover and the NDIS. Please contact the clinic for more information on different fee arrangements. Together, we can create a therapeutic environment where you feel safe and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

You can contact us via telephone, email or by using our online form. We will then get in contact with you and discuss your current needs and concerns further. Where appropriate, an initial appointment will then be scheduled via telephone, video call or face-to-face in our rooms in Coolangatta.

Prior to your initial appointment we will send you some intake paperwork via email which will allow us to spend more time together in your first consultation. Most appointments last 50 minutes and will focus on exploring your present situation and identifying any problems you are experiencing. We will also examine parts of your life that are going well, relevant parts of your history and complete . brief questionnaires in some instances. At the end of that initial session we will collectively decide if further consultations may be helpful to develop an increased understanding of underlying causes of current concerns and practical strategies to address them.

Any ongoing sessions will be provided in an empathic, solution-focussed manner aimed at working towards pre-established goals. Our discussions will aim to increase your insight into thoughts, feelings and behaviours, whilst working towards improved wellbeing and self-compassion.
